A selection of new hurleys have been acquired with the funds raised at our race night on 23rd March 2013. Many thanks to all who supported.
Anybody interested in purchasing a hurley can do so by contacting Colm at
We are currently looking for aroung £20 per hurley to try and recoup costs and hopefully buy some more spares.
Also everyone keep in mind our second joint fundraiser with the ladies footballers is on this coming Saturday the 20th July at 6pm in O'Neills Leeds.
This quiz night will have an Irish theme and there will be all the promise of a good night out afterwards. All are welcome with the entry set at just £5 per head for a table of 4.
Hope to see you all there!

9 Oct. At last....Emeralds first win at our fifth attempt in the shield semi final (and league match combined). Plenty of man of the match performances. Brian Lane top scored with a bucket load of goals and points. Garry Kernan played well and still missed 1-7! Unlucky on the day. All the new players were in good form and great to have them on board. Henry was a colassas at centre back. Tom Kennedy must be looking over his shoulder! Ray looked bored at full back! Shane gets the Dunce's hat giving away the penalty that led to their point! Anthony brought a touch of class to the match...so we'd like to thank Suzanna for her support on the day!
Onwards and upwards to the shield final against Erin go Brath.

The club would like to congratulate Tom Kennedy on representing Warwickshire in the Lory Meagher cup recently. Despite being injured at the start of the season Tom went on to play a pivotal role at centre back in the sides recent All Ireland semi final against Tyrone in Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham. Unfortunately Tyrone were successful on the day but I'm sure Warkwickshire will be back next year and hopefully with some more Yorkshire Emeralds players on board.
